Here is a brief description of our business:
Horn's is a bar and restaurant located on Main Street, serving lunch and dinner with evening entertainment. Lunch items include selections of appetizers, sandwiches, soups and salads. Dinner features Southwestern/Mexican and American fare. The pace of the job is fast with high volume during the height of the season. The business is 70 plus years old with seating for 125 with a 20 seat bar, turn of century interior with tin ceiling and large old back bar.
 Positions available
Front of house – Host, Waitstaff, Bartender, Bus staff, Floor Manager.
Kitchen Positions – Pantry/Prep, Line Cooks, Sous Chef.
Dates of employment
For students work dates will vary depending on your school break schedule.
Full time employment
All jobs are full-time, typically forty hours per week, five days per week, overtime as business demands.
 Wages
Wait staff: $2.65 per hour, plus tips.
Bar staff: Based on experience.
Host/Bus staff: Based on experience.
Service staff: Discounted meal plan available.
Kitchen helpers: $ 7.57 per hour/ $11.36 per hour OT
Restaurant Cooks: $7.94 per hour/$11.91 per hour OT
Housekeepers: $7.67 per hour/$11.51 per hour OT
Housing
Housing is provided, if necessary, in apartments or houses. All units require sharing a bedroom with a roommate. Each housing unit has a full kitchen, living room with TV, cable and VCR and coin operated laundry facilities. Rent is based upon type of unit with a minimum cost of $70.00 per week.
